Love the tape plug-ins, tried a couple of them as a trial but found that caused my AmpliTube / Daw (Cubase) to crash or freeze....has anyone else had this, is it my system or the plug-ins causing the problem ?

Which tape sims?
I have the Tape Machine Collection and they eat up A LOT of CPU on my MacBook Pro. I only use them for mixing and have to freeze tracks to use multiple instances. I just tracked a 12 string acoustic part for a friend and put the Tape Machine 80 at the end of the chain and wow. Just wow. They're the most versatile and best sounding tape plugins I have. I don't have the Tascam stuff.

I tried the Tape Machine 440 / 80...certainly very impressive to use, thanks supernorton for the advice on freezing tracks when using them, they have done a really good job on those!
