Is there a decent sub for a 1978 JMP?

Postby Aaronfishbein6 » Mon Nov 08, 2021 6:29 pm

Hey all! I just got Amplitube 5, I'd like to mirror my live setup which is a '78 JMP and a Twin (A/B'd obviously). I was kind of surprised the only JMP is that weird JMP-1 rackmount amp, is there another amp included that people have found is pretty similar to my JMP? I love the rounded/warm sound it has and prefer it over a 800/900.

Thanks!

The vintage metal lead amp is based on a JMP100.

Seconding what rspst14 says. Though it's an older model, Vintage Metal Lead was at least lightly refreshed in AmpliTube 5 and is identified as "based on Marshall® JMP100™ head". That nomenclature is a little hazy; I suspect this means a late'70s master-volume early (pre-JCM) #2203 100w head:
