That's bad news. Wonder if a fix is coming along any time soon. Issue has been around for quite a while.

Is this only affecting older Macs with integrated graphics? I'm on an iMac and not sure what to do.
I just wrote to IK support to try and get some info on the matter. Can we expect a fix from IK?

And does apple even want me to be able to use my own computer anymore?!

Anybody on an iMac Pro or iMac running Catalina 10.15.7 with security patch 007 applied able to use AT5?

Thanks for any insight

Hi, I started this thread and also put in a ticket with IK and yes, I have a MacMini with integrated graphics. This has something to do with this specific security update. Who knows, maybe it's just a permissions issues somewhere.

Hey thanks for the reply

Ok the 2012 MacMini with integrated graphics I think I also read the 2012 MacBook had the same issue. It updates the intel graphics driver that seems to be the issue. This was from reading on the Apple discussions board about other software crashing due to the update.

Maybe newer iMacs are ok? I'm still on AT5 5.1.1

I use a Macbook Pro Mid 2012 and I still have the problem, AT5 doesn't open at all

I have the same problem here, AT5 (v5.3.0) crashes on the startup. The same occurs with T-RackS (v5.8.0).
Mac mini (Late 2012), Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

Hi there,
same problems here, mac mini late 2012, mac os x 10.15.7., amplitube 5 and t-racks 5 crashes after security update 2021-007...
There´s a new security update out now, 2021 - 008, anyone tried that ?
I´m a bit scared, don`t wanna loose more plugins while working on some projects...

Confirmed, all is well with AmpliTube 5.3.0 and the latest Apple Security Update. I also checked SampleTank 4, Syntronik 2 and T-Racks 5. All is well there too.
