You can try to run the app as an Intel base program to see if it will run without crashing.
Toward the bottom of the article is how to run a universal program with Rosetta.

Cheers.

No Run with Rosetta flag available for Amplitube. From Mac forums I understand that the flag is not available because it is an Intel only binary and opens with Rosetta 2 automatically. The flag is only available for universal (i.e. Intel and ARM) binaries.
Thanks for the advice anyway

Thank you Peter_IK.
I've opened the case with IK Multimedia Support yesterday.

Hi everyone.
Problem solved.
I have installed both AT4 and AT5 with IK Product Manager and now everything works fine with AT5.
I have also been able to un-install AT4 afterwards and AT5 still works fine with MacOS 12 Monterey.

Mysteries of my Mac :)

Thanks for your support

Please share how you fixed it, how did you get them installed, are they working with in Pro tools as plugins?

AmpliTube 5 should be working normally without any fix in Monterey (and the testing team has tested this and confirmed). Avid has not announced that Pro Tools is officially compatible with Monterey so that could be part of the issue for anybody experiencing issues with PT + macOS 12.

I have installed AT4 and AT5 with IK product manager.
I have un-installed AT4 with its un-install facility.
I use AT as a standalone app.

Just got a new M1Pro MBP...all IK plugs freeze pro tools during the boot. Work in Luna. Hammond crashes PT. If I remove the aax plugs out of the folder, PT's boots fine.

Our plugins were tested and working well on M1 / Monterey. Sorry to hear that isn't the case for you. I'm sure IK Support can assist you in figuring out what's happening in your case. Thank you.

I'm also having an issue with Pro Tools sessions not loading if they have an instance of AT5, or crashing if I add or activate AT5 within an open session. I can load the session with no problem if I hold shift while opening to deactivate all plugins, but once I activate AT5 it crashes Pro Tools completely.

I can open the AT5 standalone app with no problems. I'm on an M1 Mac Mini with Monterey.
