Track export truncated to 8 seconds

Postby Linus38120 » Sun Jul 25, 2021 12:19 am

Hi,
[macOS Big Sur - iRig HD 2 - AmpliTube 5]
I am totally new at AmpliTube 5 so I am far from understanding AmpliTube 5 so some help will be appreciated.
I recorded a track with a total duration of 73".
When I export it to Wav or Aiff the file is only 8" long. Where is my mistake ? I do not see where you set the length of the export.
The sound level of the 8" .Wav is low while it it is high for the 8" .Aiff. I can't find how to control the output sound level.
If I save the project, the file "Audio(4).wav" contains the whole track but, as said above, with a sound level which is low.
All the best

I reply to myself since I found part of the answer here.
https://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/ikforum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=26595&p=113475&hilit=AmpliTube+5+Problem+with+exporting+wav#p113475

I think section 4.1.1.7 of the manual should quote that the range of the track must be set before exporting and how.

Now I have another problem :
When I launch AmpliTube 5 with nothing connected I get a loud whistle in the speakers of the Mac. The selected amplifier was Brit 8000. I could stop the noise by reducing the PRE AMP volume. But is that normal ?
I hope that exploring the application will help me understand.

If you have disconnected your audio interface, then AT5 is probably defaulting to the system mic and speakers. This will cause a feedback loop if you are using an iMac or MacBook.
