Postby funkyspunky91 » Fri Jul 23, 2021 1:21 am

Hello, I recently upgraded from Amplitube CE to Amplitube 5. Whenever I try to open effects rack i get this error:

FL Studio (20.8.3.2304) [64Bit] has encountered an error and needs to restart.

Crash log saved to C:\Users\David\Documents\Image-Line\FL Studio\Support\Logs\Crash\ folder.

Please use Ctrl+C to copy this message and report to support.

Exception:
Access violation at address 00007FFDA1565939 in module 'AmpliTube 5.dll'. Read of address FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Callstack:
00007FFDA0830000:00007FFDA1565939: AmpliTube 5.dll

It's frustrating cause its one of the reasons I upgraded.. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

I am sorry to hear about the problems you are running into.

As this is primarily a user to user forum, someone-else may chip in. But please remember that the same symptoms do not necessarily mean the same problem.

Meanwhile, the best thing to do is contact Support, via here. There is a link at the top of the Search FAQs page to the Technical Support form, for some one to one investigation and help. Response time aims to be within 2 working days (US (East Coast) Business hours, generally), but in the current circumstances please allow some more time.

And, to help others who run into a similar problem, please let us know what you did to resolve the problem. Please do not quote directly any correspondence from Support, as that may apply only to your particular circumstances and may lead others down the wrong track.

Hi! I am having the same problem.
I am just wondering if anyone solved this issue?

I contacted support but thought if someone solved it maybe they forgot to reply back to the thread. Thanks in advance! :)

SOLVED IT!

Had to full fresh install FL studio.
Delete reg key. Remove literally everything. Hunted all the program files, documents folders and everything I could. Deleted every trace of FL Studio off the computer and Amplitube. (There may be a second file that's hidden in documents under imageline and another related to an Amplitube folder [IK or Amplitube].
Clear all the info from FL studio like EVERYTHING you can find delete and clear it. Then fresh install everything from barebones. (as if these programs never existed).

If it is still crashing you may have a hidden file for Amplitube somewhere. (check your program files BOTH versions and do a search).

Hope this helps! it took me 5 days to solve this!
