Resizing AmpliTube 5?

Postby supanorton » Mon Jun 21, 2021 11:57 am

I'm curious if anyone else is having trouble with resizing AmpliTube 5 using Logic Pro X.

I have a 13 inch 2016 MacBook Pro. I've filed a support ticket, and they've told me to adjust the resolution, which allows for a tiny bit of resizing, but nowhere near the same kind of response as the T-Racks and MixBox plugins, which resize wonderfully and can remain open when mixing.

I have the exact same issue when using MODO DRUM.

How's AT5 and/or MODO DRUM working on your MacBook Pro?

Hi supanorton

No problems here resizing MODO Drums or AT5 in standalone or in Logic at 15" MBP default resolution.
System Specs: 2012 Mac Mini 2.6 i7 & 2015 MBP 2.2 i7, 16GB RAM
macOS10.15.7 Logic 10.6.1 Reason 11

Thanks, Garfy. Maybe it's my small screen, but I can't resize those two like I can with MixBox and the T-Racks plugins.

I made support a video, and they told me that's just the way those two work right now. I'm hoping they can give me more functionality in the future.

There’s definitely something wrong with the resizing. AT5 instances that I have saved in my template open small the way I like, but I can’t resize them. Then, whenever I drop a new instance of AT5 into my project, it loads way bigger and while I can resize it this time, I can only make it larger, not smaller.

Definitely let support know. If enough of us demonstrate that there's a problem, the more likely it is to get fixed.

Hi j4k-msc

You have a 13" MBP like supanorton, so that might be the common element.

As they have done, you should submit a ticket to Official IK Support so they can look into the issue for you.
