AT5 downloaded presets - confused

Postby IKmarco » Thu Apr 29, 2021 11:15 pm

Hi - I’ve downloaded the free presets that have IKM have been giving away and have managed to find, unzip and place them in the right place (eventually)

When I run AT5 I see far fewer presets in the list than I do in the folder containing the presets

I’m new to this - am I entirely misunderstanding?

Please make sure that you have the Gear Selector set to show gear and presets that you don't own. If you have it set to filter only what you own, you will only see presets that contain gear you own.

You can find more information about the Gear Selector filter in the AmpliTube 5 User Manual (where is my manual located?)

Thanks Peter

I have AT4, AT5 CS and AT5 SE

I have downloaded the free presets that are being given away at the moment - when I press the gear selector to display all gear, all the downloaded presets show up on the left, but when I try to load them it says I don’t own the gear

So I guess what I’ve actually downloaded is carrots :)

Cheers

You can, of course, opt to Try out those not-yet-owned gear models, though

Or use the filter as Peter mentioned above.

In order to hide them again?

Some of the free presets include gear that is not included in AT4, 5CS and 5SE.

Use the filter to hide the presets that include gear that you don't own. This will reduce the number of presets that you see. Alternatively, as @DarkStar suggests you can Trial or Buy the gear required for the presets to work properly.
