I am an over 60 strummer who has loved Queen for nearly 50 years so buying the Brian May collection was a no-brainer.

love the sounds even with my Squier Tele, but can't activate the pack with Ableton. The pack works great as a stand alone and can be seen as a VST in Ableton. I can drag the panel down on to the bottom of the screen but can't get any sound.

If there is an explanation please make it as simple as possible I can usually work out this type of thing but this has me stumped

Sounds like its correctly installed so it should work like any other amp sim. Hopefully youve tried another one to confirm your path is working.

Not an ableton user but going to guess its a simple issue with a mute button on somewhere or similar. Maybe a routing issue inside the DAW.

A5 is a little quirky and has stopped working entirely on my computer. I even had a bit of an issue getting it started on day one.

I would double check all pages on the A5 interface. Often changing the sample rate or routing configurations, and then changing them back can kind of "jump start" the program into motion.

Definitely restart your computer and all pertinent programs.

Sometimes it can be a driver issue. For me Helix wont even see A5 but my higher end dedicated audio interfaces have no problem.

Hello davidmeadows1156 and welcome to the forums.

Hopefully this answers your issue:

1) Make sure you're dropping AT5 onto an Audio Track (green box in image)
2) Check that the input shown is where you have your guitar plugged into on your AI and "Monitor" on the channel is In. (red box in image)

yes it worked a treat, Lord Brian lives in my front room. I think I was almost there but you put the finishing touches.

Now please just as simply help me reduce 24ms of latency. I'm using Ableton 11 and a Focusrite Scarlett Solo

set your soundcard buffer as low as it goes. this should be accessible from A5 main page on the audio/midi tab.
If you start to hear crackling or experience other weird behavior, you may have to raise it up a little.
