Sharing Amplitube music files between IoS and MAC/PC

Postby haydn.s.roberts » Tue Feb 09, 2021 3:20 am

Is it possible to share the "Ampltitube music file" between the Amplitube IPad app and Ampltitube 5 on a Mac or PC? I want to bring over a music file that retains the 8 tracks without exporting it into a single wav file.

Thanks for the answer.

Is there the ability to share Amplitube music files between a PC and a Mac?
Is there the ability to share Ampltitube music files between two different Macs?

Can the .at5proj be used interchangeably between a MAC and PC version of Amplitube 5?
I use both OS versions of the app between office/home and want to save the .at5proj in Dropbox location.

If you have Amplitube 5, you can import and share the "Ampltitube music file" between the Amplitube IPad app and Ampltitube 5.

But if you have Amplitube ipad App, you will not be able to share your "Ampltitube music file" to Ampltitube 5.

You will need to use a third party software or hardware called Audiobus to help you share the file. Here's a link to the app: [Mod edit: Suspicious links, in a small font, have been removed.]

Once installed on your Mac or PC, launch Audiobus and connect your iPad to the interface by tapping "connect". You should now see an Audiobus interface on your iPad that looks like this:

Next, tap the arrow icon in the top left corner and choose "Create Document", this will open up an empty document that allows you to save audio files from one app into another.

Finally, tap any of the apps in the Audiobus interface that you want to record from, and then tap again in the same row on a second app (that you want to write your recording into).
