Thanks for the info. That halo glows a little brighter. 8-)
If you had to pick two, what are your favorite two Ampiltube amps
for clean and unclean tones?

Out of all available gear, or just the new gear?

Yes I do on my PC win10, Ryzen 5 2600, 16gb and AT5 is on my nvme ssd... it seems to be intermittent though.... it seems to be a lot smoother on my Macbook but its specs are not as good as my pc, so not sure

I'm guessing you have the power scheme set to "high performance" already? The only other thing you to have in common is the Ryzen. Not making assumptions, just saying.

One thing is that Kingston SA1000 ssd has buggy firmware. But that doesn't affect ryzen 2600 platform unless you have update BIOS which will cause problems problems with buggy Kingston firmware. If you have Kingston ssd you can download firmware upgrade application from Kingston and it will update ssd firmware if there is new one available.

In my case whole ssd disk disappeared from time to time when I upgraded my Ryzen 2600 system to Ryzen 3100 platform. After Kingston firmware upgrade there has been no issues.

In any case it is worth to check ssd firmware situation. Also ryzen systems might be problematic with some USB devices.

I have updated to 5.0.1 but no longer have any input. I am using an Apollo Twin x. I have it selected in the midi area but nothing. Any suggestions?

I am running a Mac with Big Sur

Update to 5.0.1 did NOT fix my signal routing for the AT5 standalone.

I am still having issues with the AT5 standalone not getting any input from anything attached to my Motu interface except inputs one and two (which are mic XLR only). The guitar inputs on this interface for guitar (TS) are inputs 3 and 4 for the interface. Everything works perfectly when AT5 is used as a plugin within Logic Pro X. I am running Catalina on an iMac.

Support request submitted to IK last week but no answer yet.

Re: 5.0.1 is out - UPDATE from IK Support

Postby hermybear2002 » Sun Jan 31, 2021 10:41 pm

So, I have been having several issues on several platforms since before the 5.0.1 update, though the update DID allow me to work both in Stand Alone and Reaper, it is extremely unreliable from a stability point of view. I can play fine in Stand Alone as long as I don't try to do too much midi mapping; it will toggle and do simple expression pedal functions, but will crash on multiple, reverse parameter expression functions. I won't go into the DAW implementation. About 3 1/2 weeks ago, I sent in an email to support (piggybacked an older one from pre 5.0.1 update) and provided a 74 page PDF crash report from my Macbook Pro (mid-2012 / non-retina). [mod redacted - please review the rules]

This is what they said:

Hello _________,

Thanks for your patience while we got back to you.

Sorry about the delay in reply, thanks for your patience during these times.

We have a good update coming out soon lets wait and let you use this and see if it solves all this for you.

I received this email on Friday, Jan 29th, so we probably have another week to wait before they roll out the update 5.0.2 (or something like that).

Hope this fixes most of the issues. Still have a ways to go though.

I heard from support it could be out as early as today. I'm having a problem with 5.01 in Reaper that e have not been able to solve so our hope is 5.02 will be the cure.
