I believe IK Product manager works now on Big Sur 11.2

I've uninstalled IK Product manager, downloaded the IK Product manager again and installed it again. It has successfully downloaded and installed SampleTank 4 and Custom Shop!

Thanks IK Support!

My computers don't even recognize iRig HD 2 is connected since I've updated to the new OS.

Any way around this?

iRig HD 2 is a class-compliant USB audio interface so typically it should not have any problem. Please report your issue to IK Support and they will be able to assist you directly.

I was on the fence about getting Amplitube 5 because I run Big Sur but I can confirm that it works without ANY glitches on y Imac.

I hope IK Multimedia realizes that most new Mac are shipped with Big Sur and users have no choice.

Big Sur has been out since November of 2020, the release date for Amplitube 5 was released in December of 2020.

Why would you release a product that was not compatible with the latest operating systems? [mod edit - IK didn't, see Peter's post below]

In your line of software, zero-day compatibility is of huge importance.

[mod edit - please read the guidelines at viewtopic.php?f=10&t=19505 especially those about "rage quitting" and similar]

If all of the software I get is not 100% compatible, it's not worth it.

AmpliTube 5 has worked with Big Sur from the go. Edit - since that was "slang-y" I mean since day one of the AmpliTube 5 release.

Also, since this thread has devolved into something that needs constant cleanup (including being a spam honeypot too, apparently), and it has run its course and any official statement in the linked news will be updated for official information the thread will be locked to keep the forum tidy.
