What kind of Amplitube 5 version is included in the AXE I/O SOLO + Amplitube 5 Bundle ?

https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/i ... dle&R=INIT

I own all Amplitube 4 stuff and for me it only makes sense to buy this bundle if it´s the version with all the new amps included.

I agree! I was amazed that they created the custom robotic device just to measure the real cabinets. It shows the level that IKM goes to to create their products, they work with the real equipment and it's not just programming wizardry, which it is... :)

The look and level of realism in the graphics is very impressive as well. I have most of IKM's software, and I love how they use the advancements they've made in their other software and bring it in to the new versions of their current software, like the did when they came out with Syntronik and eventually used that interface for Sample Tank 4. And the advancements they've made in T-RackS 5 can easily be seen in MixBox and in Amplitube 5.

I got mine pre-ordered... can't wait... :D

Peter,

I believe it was mentioned on one of the videos that Amplitube 5 would have tighter Axe/IO integration. Can you say a little more about this?

Really seems to be a lot of confusion about what and how the older stuff will work in AT5.

I pre-ordered s not long after the intro price went in.

I want that VIR tech!!

I want the new routing!!

And I want those TR fx's!!

Everything else is just buttercreame icing on an already very tastey cake!!

Good going IK!

Hi all, can the GUI now be resized to custom fit our screens?

Looking at the bundle's web page https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/index.php?A=axe-io-solo-amplitube-5-bundle&R=INIT the link to AT5 does not currently work. But the box is purple (and does not have an SE or MAX suffix), which is AT5:

Halfway down that page are links to PDFs listing the included gear.

Hello,

Sorry, but for me the upgrade from AT4 to AT5 is not really clear ...

I have bought Amplitube 4, Ampeg SVX 1 & 2, Fender 1 & 2, Orange, Jimi Hendrix, Slash, and even AT3, via several promotions on the last ten years.

What will happen if I install Amplitube 5 Custom Shop ?
For that I understood, every pack will be upgraded to version 5, except Amplitube 5, is that correct ?
And if I want Amplitube 5, I should buy the the 5SE version at 149 €, is that correct ?

Also, do you know the release date of Amplitube 5 ?

Tanks !

No, please see above.

It depends on what you have already , but probably not. You can see links to PDFs of the gear in each AT5 edition halfway down this page:

We only know that it is scheduled for Q4 2020, so before the end of the year.

For the updated looper, it says two tracks can be recorded at once. Does that mean that it can operate in stereo mode? That was my main wish list item for AT5, but the wording doesn’t specifically say “stereo”. Basically, I want it to loop exactly what I’m hearing on a stereo rig rather than converting it to a mono signal as in AT4. Thanks if anyone can shed light on this.

I haven't been using AT much since I got my Helix, but while waitng with bated breath for the AT5 release, I've been revisiting AT, which sounds AWESOME through my PC112+!

One thing I always liked about AT is the global MIDI arrangement for the Pedal Board. One thing that's always disappointed me was the lack of carryover of that functionality for the Rack and Inserts. Any chance that's been added in AT5?

I'm impressed there were so few leaks about the new capabilities.
Lots of user requests have been carved in code 8-)

Yes, you keep all products for use in the new version. It was mentioned earlier,
that V5 won't have to over-write V4, so keep V4 running as the dust settles,
and see what shakes out. With such a massive improvement  there are always
nooks and crannies that the coders never dreamed of, that will pop up.
You might want to watch the shops for clearance items for your library.
Hopefully there won't be any dumpster contracts where 'old' stock is ordered to be
destroyed, rather than discounted :o ;)

Could someone please tell the IK video crew that you don't have to
yammer on nonstop without taking a breath? You don't need
perpetual uninterupted voice-overs. There are many new tools and methods to present,
so slow down, and visually show how each one is done, after it has been introduced.
AT5 will sell itself on the merits. Let Berlin manage the hype ;)

I thought, 'here we go again  ' and recorded the vids for playback at 60% speed,
and watching them was still like rush-hour traffic on a Friday afternoon,
with leaking brake fluid. Better a slightly lower key video
presented in 8 minutes, than watching a 4 minute thrasher over and over again,
and still missing how some (great) features work. I'll probably get the SE if I can
get the better half to chip in on the taxes ;)
Cheers
