Postby bribardi70 » Thu Jul 09, 2020 2:27 am

Im new to AmpliTube, so far I've only downloaded the custom shop. I want to buy the mesa boogie pack. Do I need to buy the AmpliTube 4 pack first?

Hello bribardi and welcome to the forum.

Nope :) The AmpliTube Custom Shop ("AT4 CS") installer installs 3 products:
-- the AT4 standalone program and plug-ins,
-- the Authorization Manager standalone program,
-- the Custom Shop standalone program.

You may find that you need to get up-to-date versions of the latter two, from:
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/authorizationmanager/
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/freedownload/download.php?show=Y&OS=MAC&PR=CL&T=oqu8isArucOpOIOk

Once authorized with the Serial number in your User Area / My Products, the AT4 software will let you use the 24 gear models fully and let you Try out any others.

The Mesa/Boogie pack is a collection of additional gear models that will run in AT4. After purchase (which you can do via the Custom Shop program) you will get another Serial Number. Authorize that too, then in Custom Shop, in the AmpliTube section, click [Gear] and select "Restore my gear". You should then be able to use all the Mesa/Boogie gear models fully too.
