I'm really struggling here. I can't seem to figure out how to listen directly in my headphones vs external amp. I'm using a brand new iRig Stomp (still very new to everything) connected to my Windows laptop. The Stomp output is connected to my practice amp as it is the only way I've been able to hear it so far. I'm hearing the effects of Amplitube through the practice amp, but I'd prefer to keep the amp off. Thanks for any advice.

I assume you mean iRig Stomp I/O (since iRig Stomp is not for PCs it is for iOS devices). In that case, you should be able to plug your headphones into the heapdhone out on your iRig Stomp I/O.
