Amplitube 4 Issues Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen[Resolved]

Hello,

I am brand new to this but watched a few videos that made it seem to be fairly easy to setup. I just purchased the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen and am trying the free version of Amplitube 4 to make sure this is the amp software for me. After messing around withe the MIDI settings, I finally was able to get the software to recognize Focusrite USB ASIO for the input and output, but I am still not getting any sound from my guitar to my headphones.

It does work when Direct Monitor is turned on, but has no distortion from the software.

Please let me know if anyone else has had this issue.

Hello Cody and welcome to the forums.

The Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen has input 2 as the instrument input so I suspect that, in the Audio/MIDI set up of AT4, you need to make sure that the Left Channel is designated as input 2 if you are working in mono (as you would with a guitar).

You should now be seeing the signal on AT4's level meters. Turn off Direct Monitoring and you should (hopefully) now be hearing the guitar via the software.
