Free Version of Amplitube? Where please?

Postby jettison » Wed Jul 17, 2019 4:35 pm

Hi All,

Been testing Software simulators by all the big guns but the demos are a pain. They time you out or send an annoying signal thru my system to remind me its a demo or prevent recordings (whatever). Anyway, in my research I keep seeing that Amplitube has a free version. Not that I need a free version but ready to purchase if I can hear the products long enough to make an intelligent decision. Therefore, where is this supposedly free version of Amplitube? The Custom Shop download is not free and timed me out. Thank you kindly.

Hello jettison and welcome to the forum.

If you mean the AmpliTube Custom Shop v.4.8.2 that is the free version. Did you authorise it with the serial number? If not, that may be why as it will only run in demo mode until authorised.

You'll find an Authorisation Manager has been installed at the same time. Follow the instructions to get the full functioning free version.

Hope that helps.

AmpliTube Custom Shop is free and does not time out.
FREE version of AmpliTube 4 with 24 models including a digital chromatic tuner, 9 stomps, 4 amps, 5 cabs, 3 mics, 2 rack effects

And you can try out any of the other gear models.

You do need to Authorize it using the (latest) Authorization Manager.

Hi All,

Thank you for the replies. I downloaded and installed the authorization manager but its asking for serial numbers. Where do I obtain serial numbers for this free version? Thank you for your patience.

Serial numbers are next to the product in your User Area.

It will start ACS40-XXXXXXXX-XXXXX

Paste it into the Authorisation Manager and you should be good to go.

Thank you so very much! FIXED!
Sorry but I had no idea I had a "user area" after I initially registered days ago. Yes, it was there I found all the required authorization serial numbers. I'm good to go! I initially thought you simply download the free product, install it and go but not so. Again: FIXED! Thank you once again for your speedy replies!

Glad to have helped. You'll also find some other free software in your User Area as well, again, which need to be authorised to take them out of demo mode.
