Hello Icarus6

You will find the serial number in your User Area under My Products>Amplitube Custom Shop>Serials/Authorisations.

You need to put the number into the Authorisation Manager which will authorise your software for you.

Hope that helps.

Also, please note that AmpliTube Custom Shop is not just a trial version - there is a lot of free gear in there that does not expire and you can have great tones with the free gear that is available to you (without expiration, as noted).

You can try gear by opening the Custom Shop application (in your Start Menu on Windows or in your Applications folder on Mac) and clicking the "Try" button next to the desired gear you'd like to demo. You must leave Custom Shop open in the background and be connected to the internet to try gear.

I'm also being asked for a serial number on a free version, I couldn't find any folders where it could be located.

Hello Ramses4 and welcome to the forum.

As explained above, if you go into your User Account on this site you'll see a list of your products. Alongside AmpliTube4 Custom Shop you'll see a serial number. This is what you need to put into the Authorisation Manager (installed when you downloaded AT4CS) to authorise your product.

Hope that helps.

Great stuff, glad you've found it.

Yes, IK are pretty generous with their freebies when you open an account. Obviously, they do it to entice you in to buying the full versions, but at least they're not demos that have a limited lifespan, until you start exploring the Custom Shop.
