Postby Esuscardoso » Wed Apr 20, 2016 7:51 pm

Hello fellows, I've just downloaded Amplitube 4 free version and been tryin' to make it work at audacity, but I can't seem to find the plugin file. I know i have to copy it into the Plugin folder at audacity, but if i can't the file, then I just won't be able to do so. I've looked for it in the whole computer and found a amplitube 4 plugin folder, transferred it, but it didn't worked any tips on how to make it work? (I couldn't find a single tutorial on youtube about amplitube and audacity wich surprised me)

Having trouble installing Amplitube 4 in Audacity. Amplitube 3 works but I don't get my custom shop goodies. Any tricks to getting this to work? The .dll file is in the same dir as amplitube3.dll and Audacity picks it up as a plugin but fails to install it for use.

Is Audacity 32-bit or 64-bit? The AT4 plug-ins are 64-bit only.

Audacity 2.4.2 is 64 bit and Hammond B-3X still won't run in it. Can anyone help?

Hello bwhitman001 and welcome to the forums.

While Audacity is indeed now 64-bit, Hammond B-3X is an instrument plugin that needs a MIDI input which is something that Audacity doesn't support.

You'll need a more fully fledged DAW to host it, such as Cubase, Logic, Reaper etc. or use it as a standalone instrument.

Hope that helps.
