Oh okay. So if I use the free A5 CS, it has limited features and an upgrade to A5 SE for $99 will give me all the features and I can still use all my past purchases. The FAQ was a little confusing. Thanks for clearing it up.

One last question. When is this going to be released?

The Comparison Guide on this page:
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/amplitube5/?pkey=amplitube-5
now includes the features as well as the gear in AT5 CS, AT5 SE, AT5 and AT5 MAX.

Just to let you know there should be an update made to that tomorrow to amend with no IR loader in AmpliTube 5 CS.

Dude, if you want to use all the gear you have with ALL the new features, you need to upgrade to Amplitube 5 for $149.

Plus with that upgrade you get the new AmpliTube 5 gear. We don't talk about them much here but those amps are crazy good.

I didn't see (maybe I missed it) if the actual raw amp models (without cab) will improve in tone and feel with AT5. I sometimes use the amps in isolation with external cab/fx, so an improved raw anp tone with some of the models I use (ie Mesa) would be a benefit to me.

The amps will take advantage of the brand new engine, but also older legacy amps have also been redone.

Ok. So I ordered A5 SE @ $99. How do I get the A5 version for the new gear? Or does the SE version unlock the new gear too?

AmpliTube 5 SE does not include the new gear. You would need to work with Sales Support to get that order changed. If you've already sent a request in please PM me your ticket number and order number.

Hey Peter,
I have put in a request via email to change my order from the SE version to A5 full version. I appreciate your help and will send you the case & order numbers when I get it. I would rather not post it here so if I can send it privately, that would be great.
Thanks.

So, if I already have A4 MAX with all additional packs. Would A5SE give me everything that comes with A5MAX or do I need to buy A5?

You would need AT5 to get the new gear (stomps, amps etc.) not available in AT5SE.
System Specs: 2012 Mac Mini 2.6 i7 & 2015 MBP 2.2 i7, 16GB RAM
macOS10.15.7 Logic 10.6.1 Reason 11
Various IK, NI, Waves, Softube, Eventide, XLN software
Focusrite 18i20 x 2, Novation ReMote 25SL

From what I was told you need A5 not A5 SE to get the new gear and all the new features. I'm hoping they'll cancel my order for SE and let me order A5.
