Mapping a single audio sample across a range of notes

Postby boda613 » Fri Feb 25, 2022 1:33 am

It may be that Sampletank does not have this ability, but I'm trying to find out if it does.
I know that we can assign a single audio sample file to a single key using C#1, etc at the beginning of the file name or import a group of samples chromatically.
But is there any way to take a single sample and map it across a range from say C#1 to C#3 for example so that we can play it's unchanged pitch at C#1 but it will play transposed automatically if we trigger any keys from D1 to C#3?
Kontakt seems to be the software that will do this the easiest, but I'm trying to see if SampleTank can do it, too?
Thank you.

Yes I know you can, it's been a little bit since I've opened editor but from what I remember you can just grab the highlighted note at the top on the virtual keyboard and drag to expand it.
