UNO dancing with the NUX Mighty Plug 2

Got tired of watching reviews of Fender Micro Mustang and NUX Mighty Plug 2,
and got the nux for $70, and then saw an Andertons cheese vid of them using the Fender
product in a Nord, an acoustic, a bass, a group of pedals, and finally a little
looper extravaganza.

I glanced over at my UNO, recently unpacked from vacation,
and said, 'I know where all the adaptors are, get over here, NOW!'
In a French minute, UNO was arping it's way through the eight default rigs on the nux
reviewed accurately by Leon:

The default tones I use are the cleanish Twin, some highgain masher, the acoustic sim,
and a Bassman, so four very very different results are available on the UNO
sounds, requiring use of the UNO volume knob, accordingly.

I think I'm gonna velcro a nux on the left side of UNO, running a lightweight
mini cable from UNO out to the secured nux 1/4" pin.
The one-button selector will be easy to access. And of course, custom setups
can be added with the editor app, instead of the defaults, as Leon shows
in the above video. Some folks may prefer the $100 Fender product, they've put
far more options dialed-in on the unit, but don't have an editor app (yet),
hence having more buttons/colors/combos to memorize.

So don't send your original UNO to ebay when the UNO Pro version escapes captivity,
give it some powerful affordable compact upgrades, and make them a team that dominates!
(free hint: if you're of working age, don't start gain-staging a nux or micro with
Amplitube, unless you're off for the whole weekend ;)
Cheers
