VR Instruments?

Amplitube for Xbox, Nintendo, Playstation?

My guess is that AMPLITUBE 5 (possibly under a new name?) is coming.
While both T-Racks and SampleTank have seen upgrades (to versions 5 and 3 respectively), the third flagship app hasn’t. Changing AMPLITUBE 4 will probably mean a “paradigm shift” (as in “changing concepts”), especially if including features like tweaking your amps by changing tubes, preamps, eqs, etc., much like one of IK’s competitor does. That could explain why the red and black teaser pictures show some kind of electronic switch board (the -7 even with a grid layer on top) which resemble quite a bit the background picture of the UI of said competitor’s apps. :D
As I mentioned in another post (actually a pm to you, Peter), some special features for acoustic guitar/bass/other instruments will hopefully be included in a major upgrade of our beloved AMPLITUBE.

A make-any-sound-you-can-ever-think-of? One that is extremely pick sensitive?

Alright, you have changed the background and it becomes evident that I was wrong. My second guess is that IK is launching a piece of hardware. I’d say we are about to see the first IK modeling amp. :o

By what I can see from the murky background picture it looks like it might be some kind of groove machine like the Korg electribes or like my old Ensoniq ASR-X-Pro due to what looks like a keyboard type pad arrangement at the bottom. This would be nice if it can incorporate all the VST's like Sampletank etc and effects, plus some pattern sequencing and song building...here's hoping.

I'm thinking hardware... Either modeling synth, a Sampletank based synth, or some kind Amplitube based Amplification.

If it's software... I'm thinking an open format modeling based synth VST. Switching from sample based synthesis to full-on modeling would definitely be a paradigm shift!

Today's photo (and the last one before the reveal! though we also have a new video teaser up on our Facebook page too) should give a lot of insight since the background clue has been changing to become more and more clear...

So yes, fooled yet again. After I watched your posts on FB, I understand that it’s some kind of MIDI device, probably a synth simulator.
