Connection to ios devices

Postby lorenzoscuda » Wed Aug 21, 2019 3:15 pm

Hi, I’m trying to connect UNO SYNTH with my IPhone and IPad to use US EDITOR app.
But I cannot see any device connected in the app.
Still “waiting for UNO”.
I’m using a brand new Lightning to USB Micro-B Cable.
But nothing shows up.

Are you using an Apple cable? The typical supported method to connect UNO Synth to an iOS device would be using the included USB cable into a Camera Connection Kit like this connector from Apple: https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD82 ... ra-adapter

There must be a misunderstanding, as UNO Synth comes with the following:

1x Micro USB to USB cable

And we don't sell a direct Micro USB to Lightning cable that is compatible with UNO Synth. We have that cable for other products but it is not specified to work with UNO Synth in its description as it is for other products.

There’s nothing specified anywhere. It’s not easy to do the right purchase.
I assumed buying a IK cable could be the safest choice...

Each cable will list the products it is compatible with.

The Lightning to Micro USB Cable in the IK Shop specifies the following above the "Buy Now" button in the product listing:

Lightning to Micro-USB cable for iRig Mic Studio, iRig Mic HD, iRig HD 2 and iRig Keys Mini.
150cm / 59"

Hi, I'm sorry but it is far more efficient to list the products a cable will work with than to list those that it will not work with.
