iLoud Micros Distort When Using Bluetooth

Postby JWParenteau » Wed Nov 23, 2022 2:15 pm

I thought I blew my speakers when listening to this:
Cosmo Canyon - Final Fantasy VII cover by Steven Morris

Turns out it's the bluetooth, as the climax sounds fine with a direct line but has some distortion with bluetooth.

I did some digging and it turns out that bluetooth has two modes, Headset Hands-Free (low audio quality option), HeadSet Stereo (high audio quality option).

However, I can't seem to find any switch for the iLoud Micros. I'm guessing there isn't one.

Will IK suppport point me in the right direction or does anyone else have this trouble and has managed to figure it out? It will be a major inconvenience to have to use a direct line out of a laptop all the time.

Looking at another recent support thread looks like there hasn't been an answer for more than a week. That's a bad look and makes me want to consider another company devoted to speakers for my next upgrade.

Looks like they support 32 bit but it's not available in the Windows list.
