MODO Drum and Bass in Cubase does not record

Postby WickieDerChef01 » Sun Jun 25, 2023 1:47 pm

Hi there

I'm struggling with Modo Drum and Bass in Cubase Elements AI. After adding both as VST I am trying to record a simple out of the box drum pattern. The Modo Drum UI opens out of Cubase. Then I'm just pressing the run button and the groove is getting out the speakers. I can see in Cubase that the signals appears but it does not record when pressing the record button.

Does anyone know what this could be?

regards
Stefan

Sounds like Cubase isn't set up properly.
Have you set the left and right inspectors (Locators) ?
Have pressed the record button on the Cubase track ?

It was a stupid novice problem. I just need to drag and drop a pattern from Modo drum into the tracking line. Then it worked..

Ive just tried this and it seems like a lot of plug in grooves you have to set up a MIDI track and then drag and drop the groove from the MODO Drum GUI to the Cubase GUI (MIDI Track).
