The uprights are more resource intensive models. I'd suggest contacting support who might have better tips to help you.

Great news modo fans. Vers 2.1 update released and fixed the DAW crash in FL with upright and Rockabilly. Everything works perfect. Thanks IK!!!!!!!!!!

YES! Both upright basses work great after 2.1 update, using reaper/windows 11. I love it!

Is there any reason to have both of them installed other than backwards compatibility with older session? Does, say Thunder Bass, sound identical in both versions? Any help is appreciated.

Peter at IK? Or anyone. I would like to clean up my machine. Has this question been answered? Can MODO Bass 1.5.2 be uninstalled; do I need both? If we update sessions with the new version, will all of the settings and custom modifications translate over.

Thanks

They are installed side by side for the very purpose of not affecting your previous projects. If you'd like to transition a project to v2 you would want to instantiate another track with MODO BASS 2, and copy over your MIDI and then audition and tweak it as it is a new and different version which will sound different for multiple reasons. But in your project you have a certain sound picked for your mix so we wouldn't want to disrupt that by changing the version in place.
