MODO DRUM head selection

Postby Caiwyn » Sun Aug 11, 2019 8:52 pm

Been searching for a drum plugin that allows me to select toms that have been dampened to the point that they barely ring at all, like the sound of early Rush records where Neil Peart was using Evans Hydraulics -- these are drum heads with a thin layer of oil suspended between two sheets of plastic, designed to significantly reduce the way toms ring. As I've seen it described, "you hit them, they go 'thunk'." Is it possible to reproduce this effect with Modo Drum?

You would want to set the damping all the way up.
