[SOLVED] Note Slides - MODO not seeing Arturia Pitch Wheel

Postby drummaman » Sun Jun 24, 2018 10:16 pm

There was/is a glitch in Studio One Pro V4 -
Toggling the filter boxes in SOP4 setup got things to work...
They were unchecked initially, and it did not work - but toggling the filters on, then off,
got it working... go figure.

The Arturia Lab 49 has a pitch wheel that I'd like to use for note slides with ModoBass.

Both the Arturia Control and Studio One Pro 4 are seeing MIDI information when I move the pitch wheel. (The Arturia software verified pitch wheel on MIDI Channel 1.)

However - placing ModoBass in "learn" mode, it does not see the pitch wheel.
It does sound notes when the keys are pressed.

I am using MIDI channel 1, but in Studio One I have the Arturia Lab49 set for ALL channels.

The MIDI Input Channel on the bass track in Studio One is set to Channel 1, which was verified
using the Arturia software.

Any ideas how I get this pitch wheel to work to slide a note or two up and down?

I had success in controlling the mute in ModoBass with the MOD wheel, but can't get the pitch/slide to work.

Lovin' the sound of ModoBass.

Thanks.

Hi drummaman,

Which filter boxes in Studio One are you referring to? I'm having issues with my controller as well and would like to give this a try.

Thanks.

TJ -
they just releasd an update for SOP4, so try that first!

If that doesn't work, go into MIDI setup and look for the filters section.

Good luck!
