You could use your DAW's functionality to do so (as well as programming MIDI directly on the timeline which most DAWs support very well) if it has notation that also creates MIDI data.

How on earth getting an unlimited amount of bass guitars, styles, pickups, string combo's and all using physical modeling (have you heard Ironaxe tones????) hopefully with a small memory footprint can it be a "dealbreaker" without fretless capability? Myself, I really feel sorry that you don't appreciate 8 years of work and the incredible value I'm getting. I KNOW what this is and I'm gonna pound that buy button as fast as i can. This is the future and IK rocks.

I understand. However, per past experience IK is working on getting you the best possible product within the month instead of chasing a specific date.

Does MODO Bass work with Sierra 10.11? Also any updated release date?

As impressive as the demos have been, I haven't heard or seen anything representative of how MODO can handle heavier genres (hard rock, punk, metal) which is really bizarre considering you've modeled basses like the Rickenbacker, and that's the only thing keeping me from preordering.

But let's suppose I do preorder right now, and on release date I find out that MODO simply wouldn't satisfy my musical/tonal needs in those genres, would IKM be ready to offer a refund? I wouldn't be surprised if the answer was "No" but it'd be nice to get an official answer.

Great Stuff. Can't wait to switch away from Trillian.

How big is this download?

I'm on a ratty way-out-in-the-country / low-bandwidth internet connection and I'm not sure if it'll be possible. [The guy from the UN called Bell Canada's internet service "a human rights violation" ]

Might try though if it's not massive.

Cheers
