iGrand and iLectric - no midi icon - is that part of paid ve

I would buy both in a minute if the downloads worked but I'm getting the famous -4 download error. I would like to map some knobs on my controller to the several controls but there is no midi icon on the left as indicated in the manual. Is that because I don't have the paid version?

I also asked this question to support and didn't get an answer.

Restate question - I don't see a way to map midi CC from my keyboard to the demo version of Android iLectric or iGrand. Does buying those add that capability?
