Irig Pro Duo doesn't monitor in stereo

so I have a nice stereo source coming into the Duo, I turn direct monitoring on, plug in my headphones and it is not in stereo.
I've tried different headphones, same issue.
I've updated to the latest firmware.
I've already contacted support, but they said due to Covid-19, it will take longer to get to my issue.

anyone else had this?

This is completely normal. This is to allow you to monitor both signals in a mono summed fashion. Unfortunately, this cannot be changed at this time. Do note however, the iRig Pro Duo I/O "Direct Monitor" will have no effect on the recorded signal.

I don’t understand why you would do this. Huge flaw if you can’t monitor a stereo mix before you record

Sorry the problem was I didn’t have monitoring on recording app engaged
