Happy New Year everyone,
I'm building a new computer for the studio...M2 Studio. Sonoma 14.2.1
I have used heavily and enjoyed the IK line of products (a lot of them) for many years
but have always struggled to use the download and install protocol successfully
(an experience in which...locally...I am not alone). Knowing this, in building
the new machine I have left the day for IK to the end of a difficult process...
As I began this morning, after reconfirming that there are IK products I regularly
use that are M1 silicon compatible, I discovered that a freshly downloaded
Product Manager (no, I wasn't prompted to install Rosetta2) froze up (Time Left: Calculating)
no matter which product I clicked on! Silicon was introduced in 2020. What's next
...the Rosetta patch for indeterminate period of time?
Can you tell I'm frustrated in a working studio? I was hoping for more.
I'm wait and see.
