I bought into the group buy and have been gradually installing my products on the desktop and laptop the last 3 days.
I was surprised to find that I needed something called AVX to run MODO DRUM on my desktop, but it's not a huge deal because at least my laptop can run it. I eventually plan to upgrade the desktop in a year or 2 and the processors I've been looking at have AVX so I'll be good to go at that time.
My questions at the present are 1) if there is any software aside from MODO DRUM that requires AVX, 2) If there are any workarounds such as emulators, or add on cards/hardware, 3) If there is any indication they may have a future version for non AVX processors, or 4) if this is likely a future requirement of all new software going forward
