Problems with IRigKeys I/O on IPad Pro

Hey people,

i try to build a small portable Workstation with my IPad Pro (2020) and the IRigKeys I/O.
When i try to use the knobs with garageband, they do not react. Is this a normal thing and the Knobs only work on Mac? I didn‘t find any information about this.
