AXE I/O - Power switch on back, why ?

Postby JonGUK001 » Tue Nov 10, 2020 1:24 pm

Yesterday I took delivery of the AXE I/O. First impressions, very good. Excellent for reamping to real amp. Great results.

However, does anyone know why it has a power switch on the back of the unit ? I really don't understand the point of that as I usually switch all my gear on from the mains switch. Been doing that for years.

A Control Panel is installed when you download the necessary drivers, and this lets you organise the I/O routing and controller inputs, and activate phantom power, set ground lifts, change the sample rate and so on.
