Distorted sound on iOS 16.3

On both my iPad and iPhone running iOS 16.3 the sound coming from amplitube is popping and distorted. This is a new occurrence and I have recently updated both devices so my guess is there is a compatibility problem with iOS 16.3. Has anyone experienced this and able to find a resolution?

I have tried both devices, using speakers and headphones, and am using the demo track.

I’m having the same issue running iRig 2 to AmpliTube with iOS 16.3. IK please update and fix your software.

Have you reported your issue to IK Support? I'm sure they would have more information and if they recreate the issue they'll send any global issues to the devs for a fix. Thanks!

I am having the same problem using iRig HD2 via USB-C to my iPad Pro 2022 with iOS 16.3
The guitar sound is weak and distorted. Same problem no matter if I use AmpliTube, GarageBand or BIAS apps.
Please note that the same iRig HD2 device is working just fine with my iPhone 12 with iOS 16.1 via Firewire connector. Sounds great in all apps (AmpliTube and GarageBand)
I upgraded the iRig HD2 Firmware yesterday via my PC, but that did not help. Problem still persists on the iPad.
I guess that iRig HD2 does not work with iOS 16.3 on iPads with USB-C connector?
Anyone else having the same problem?

I just upgraded my iPad to iOS 16.4 but the problem persists with my iRig HD2
Works fine with my iPhone 12 still (iOS 16.1)

I am running 16.3.1 and my brand new iRig2 is having the same problem. It is almost useless. I hope this is addressed soon.

I am having the same issue with Vocalive after IOS update.
It sounds like motorboat running in the background when music is playing either recorded or imported.
This is both on my Iphone and my Ipad

Also experiencing this issue. the Recordings and Music library audio playback in all three of my Amplitube apps (Amplitube, Acoustic and Orange), sound like a detuned megaphone or Helper from Venture Bros. had not ran an updates for awhile until today, ios update did not change issue. Audio from iTunes and any other app are fine.
