Amplitube for iPad won't run when iRig HD2 in FX mode

Just to put things in context:

1. Device: Ipad Air (iOS 16.2). Connected to iRig HD2 via USB-C/micro USB cable that came with kit.
2. iRig connected to Strat through guitar port.
3. iRig connected to Fender Super Champ X2 through amplifier port.
4. Garageband works without issues
5. With iRig in bypass mode, signal goes to amp.
6. With iRig in FX mode, no signal goes to the amp, though Amplitube setting show signal meter activity when strings are strummed.
7. iRig lights give blue, green, orange, and red signals.
8. Disconnected cable to amp and connected headphones to 1/8 in port. Still no joy.

Am I missing something? I'm really stumped here.

Same problem! Put in question with support, waiting for response. Did you ever solve?

I tried Support's two possible solutions with no success. However, by just tinkering around with the "settings" switches I got it to work: switch "no feedback" to OFF.
