ToneX iRig HD2 amp out iOS issues?

Glad to see the iOS ToneX app out now. Does anyone else have this issue? I was using my iRig HD2 amp out line to my Focusrite and speakers with THU and AmpliTube (both on iPad) with no issues. Signal was going to the Focusrite and my speakers perfectly. Opened up ToneX and nothing. If I crank all the volume on everything I can just barely make out something is trying to come through. Headphones with HD2 work completely fine on ToneX. Anyone have any ideas why it would send the signal with AmpliTube and THU but not ToneX? Many thanks in advance.

I had this same issue and followed the steps in "Adjusting iOS device settings" section of this article I found. I know it's for Amplitube but it worked.
