iRig 2 to iPad Pro (12.9-inch) through usb c

Looking for specifics on cable adapters for connecting iRig2 to ipad pro 12.9" with c port.
I've tried Plugging the iRig2 into a Type-C Audio Dongle Converter 3.5mm Audio Aux Adapter
and just get feedback.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Doesnt this keyboard come with a USB-C to micro USB cable? Im pretty sure i got one with mine.
This one cable will just go between the two devices and you will get audio coming back to the keyboard. Then just use headphones or hook it up to a sound system.

I couldnt find my cable, so i used a micro USB to full size USB cable plugged in to my USB C hub. This is then plugged in to the ipad. I can play my audio apps using the keyboard, and either plug headphones in to the keyboard, or use a USB to headpone adaper and plug that in to the hub as well.
