Micro USB to Lightning cable—aftermarket or OEM?

I just bought a used iRig Micro amp and it didn’t come with original cables, of course. I bought an aftermarket cable and it doesn’t work. Is it the cable or the amp (the amp works great otherwise)? Do I have to buy an OEM cable? That would cost about half of what I paid for the amp.

This can't be difficult to solder a connection together. does someone have a defective cable that they could open to see the pin assignment?

It was the aftermarket cable. I bought an OEM cable and it works as it should.

Maybe it worked with a Lightning to USB Kamera Adapter (324766986383 on Ebay). It´s much cheaper...
