This is not the same question I posted before. In my first post, I mistakenly ask about the iRig 2. This question is about the iRig Pre 2.
I want to use the iRig Pre 2 as a preamp for a mic that has a 3.5 mm minijack. I am using a Rode Mini-Jack Female to XLR Male Adapter, but no signal is coming in. Is there a way to make this work?
This setup works with an Electret Condenser mic with a 3.5 mm minijack but not with the dynamic microphone.
