IRIG 2 Question - Iphone - Roland TD-1DMK

I have a roland TD-1DMK - it only has auxiliary out (headphones) and mix in (aux in) ports. There are no L/R mono outputs

Can I still use iRig2 to record playing along to my own music (from ipad) to my iphone by using a 1/4 cable from the irig input to aux cable on the module?

You would likely get feedback unless you only plugged in one side of an 1/8" stereo to dual 1/4" mono cable or used something like the iLine Mono Output Adapter https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/i ... ut-adapter
