I'm running my iPad / Amplitube through the effects loop on a Marshall head / cabinet so I don't want any amp or cab modelling, just pure effects processing. Switching the amp off leads to a big loss of volume so at the moment, I've found the most neutral sound to be the Ampeg SVT-4 even for lead guitar...
Is there any way that the amp and cabinet modelling can be switched off without loosing the volume? Does anyone else have any tips for making Amplitube 'neutral' for use in an effects loop?
IK - could you develop a pass-through setting where volume is maintained / boosted but with no modelling?
