Trouble recording a second track

Having trouble with my AmpliTube recorder and hoping you guys can kelp out. I am running AmpliTube 4 on 6th gen iPad. I purchased the full Recorder package and I am able to record on track 1. When I want to do another recording on track 2 I push the little “R” button to light it up but as soon as I do I loose the sound of my plugged in guitar. When I hit the record button the first track starts to play back but nothing records on track 2 and I still have no sound. I have checked all the mute and solo buttons I can find and all the input meters show a signal. When I re-arm the first track the sound of my plugged in guitar reruns. What am I missing in this process?

While this does sound like a question for support and I do want to urge you to reach out to them here.

I would suggest checking the input selection on this track. Each track in the AmpliTube iOS recorder will show the input selected as "Channel #". Make sure you have the proper input selected for your interface. Tap this "Channel #" to see all available options.

One other thing to check is the 'FX' button in AmpliTube. This will allow your signal to go through the selected Amplifiers and FX. Make sure this is enabled.
