Wife got an ipad

Ok so my wife got an ipad and I loaded up AmpliTube CS and used my registration from my irig hd 2 to get it to unlock the paid version. it works flawless but I have a couple of questions.
My wife wont put her credit card on line with apple so I figured I would make a new user and put my card on the apple site but it doesn't look like I can do that so how do I make purchases to upgrade AmpliTube on the ipad ?
Can you use your jam points with the IOS purchases.
It's kind of confusing. It would be great if I could just log into my account on IK and do the purchases from there.
any help would be appreciated.

All iOS purchases need to be done through the Apple App store. Make sure to contact Apple Support if you have any troubles purchasing new items.
