iRig HD - is it worth buying?

I've been playing for a year and eventually getting round to recording myself. Anyone had experience of the iRig HD?

Any other suggestions welcome, although need to be Mac compatible.

The iRig HD is a great model. The iRig HD 2 is a more recent version with a dedicated Amplifier output for those who want to both practice and perform.
