IRig Nano Amp - IPad Air 2 - No sound

Hi All

I am running the above setup connected with the standard included cable and currently all I can get out of it is a feedback type whine sound, with or without headphones.

Until today I was using a V1. IRig iOS device connector and had no issues.

Amplitube App and iOS software are both up to date. Amp is set to device...

HAve played with all dials on the guitar, the amp and app but to no avail.

Can you suggest other things to look at?

Further to this, there appears to be no signal going to the IPad from the amp itself have now tried with my IPhone and that doesn't receive a signal.

Both still OK with original V1. IRig device.

Issue resolved...I learnt the difference between a TS and a TRS cable!!!

Ah sorry, when you mentioned you were using the included cable that cable should be a TRRS so I didn't think that was the issue. Glad they honed in and sorted that out!

It wasn't the TRRS...

It was the 1/4" TS between the guitar and the amp...never realised there was different types...will now know just by looking which is which! (dang the extra ring of a TRS! )

As long as that ring is not inscribed with something in Elvish/tengwar, we're ok

Just to clarify, as I'm having the problem of no sound coming from the Nano\s speaker if I set it to Device mode and connect my iPod Touch 6th gen... what you're saying is that it requires a TRS guitar cable? Geez, that's something that should be in the manual!
