Amplitube ios preset management question

Postby nippyjun » Mon Dec 28, 2015 7:12 pm

Hi,
I've recently started using Amplitube for ios. I have the latest version.
I have some questions about presets.

1. Can you take a preset and after modifying it save it by overwriting it? Or do you have to save it as a new preset? if you can overwrite existing preset how do you do that?

2. Can you restore a factory preset? (this is assuming that you are able to overwrite the factory preset).

3. Is there a way to backup presets?

Also a question about the blueboard....
If I change my favorite by using the touch screen (instead of the blueboard) the blueboard does not change to show that a different favorite was chosen. is this normal behavior?

1. You can overwrite presets you've saved under User Presets. You do this by naming your preset with the same name you used previously. It will then show you a confirmation dialog box to be sure you meant to do this.

2. Not applicable per #1

I'm not sure what you mean about the BlueBoard question, do you want the same button to light on the BlueBoard as you've pressed in the app?

Yes. Choosing favorite in the AmpliTube app itself doesn't change button on the blueboard

I see. In that case, I am sorry to say that is not possible.

Hello
This answer is no more exact : http://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/3597
Now each preset has his own xml extension and not one file presets.xml.

How can we do today to restore presets in a repertory?

Thank you
