ARC Studio cable question for Axe I/O user

Postby dougs.ik » Thu Feb 29, 2024 2:30 am

I'm considering buying the ARC Studio upgrade. Currently I only turn ARC when doing final mixes so the Studio is something I've wished for since I got ARC.

I'm currently using an Alesis RA100 with unbalanced 1/4 TS inputs as my power amp. (powering Tannoy PBM 6.5's)

Is it not recommended to use such an amp with the ARC Studio?

If not would a simple XLR male to TS male cable work for connecting the ARC Studio to the amp?

Maybe it's finally time to buy active near fields. Maybe a pair of iLoud MTM's.

Thanks in advance for any advice on this.
